The service of our naturotherapist is available as part of the BioMeridian Assessment, and gives recommendations based on the six main principles of Naturopathy, which are as follows:
1. Do no harm; do not interfere with the body’s natural healing powers. Natural remedies are acceptable as long as they do not conflict with the body’s own healing mechanisms.
2. Treat the whole person: not just a specific part of the body body. Naturopathy does not treat one symptom or area of the body, but rather provides a natural aid for the person as a whole, body, mind and spirit.
3. Identify and treat the cause. Clear the source of the symptom from the body. Once this has happened, the rest of the body can be worked on using natural methods.
4. Teach: Educate the patient on homeopathy and how to continue on the journey towards health.
5. Incorporate nature as a healing force. Identify the body’s ability to heal it’s self and increase the natural processes that encourage healing by incorporating exercise, dietary supplements and therapeutic treatments.
6. Prevention. Consult the patient on how to avoid illness by making healthy lifestyle choices.
