BioMeridian
meridian stress assessment

Testing for particular imbalances is available:
Bach Flower Remedies (emotional imbalances)
Candida Albicans Overgrowth
Reversed Polarity
Food Sensitivities

The Meridian Stress Assessment (MSA) is used to conduct a complete evaluation of a person's energetic health and balance. This practice involves measuring electrical conductivity at meridian (acupuncture) points on the skin – typically on the hands; however the feet may also be used.

The Meridian Assessment tool evaluates the energetic state of the organs, glands and bodily systems by indicating which meridians are balanced, stressed, or weakened. Meridians are channels of energy which flow through the body and are associated to specific organs and systems. A meridian point, or acupuncture point is an area where the meridians flow to the body's surface in greater abundance.

After the initial measurements have been taken and recorded, the results are reviewed and discussed. Natural supplements and simple dietary modifications may be suggested to help bring the assessed areas back into balance.

History

In the early 1950's, a German doctor by the name of Reinhold Voll, developed an electrical testing device with the intent of scientifically finding acupuncture meridian points. He found that the electrical conductance at the meridian points was significantly greater than the surrounding tissues, and most importantly he identified correlations between disease states and changes in the electrical resistance of the various acupuncture points. This made it possible for him to identify those diseases earlier, when treatment intervention was likely to be more effective.

How is the test conducted?

You will be asked to hold a negative electrode in one hand. The positive electrode (probe) is used to press on each selected acupuncture point on the skin's surface. A measurement of "50" indicates that the organ or system associated with that acupuncture point has appropriate resistance, or is free from pathological problems.

When function of the organ or system is disturbed, It's bioelectric resistance is unable to maintain fixed against the flow of the incoming current.

The first stages of disease can be important motivators.  It is much easier to take action when the very first stages of imbalances are measured, before they become manifest on the physical level. One can feel healthy despite the presence of chronic irritation inside their bodies. If these irritations are not cleared, over time, they have more time to do their damage. Once the physical body is burdened by disease, one’s energy levels may not be high enough to do the work and changes necessary to bring the body back into balance.

This is why early recognition and prevention of disease is so important and correcting the imbalances before they become a life-size problem. For most of us, the greater the disease, the more time and dedication is required to restore balance.
